Target volume definition is a key aspect in radiation oncology training.
Contouring skills are however increasingly difficult to acquire in times of auto-segmentation and often taught in an unstructured manner during residency based on standards that might differ substantially between institutions.
In an effort to improve on this crucial skill, SASRO is organizing another half-day contouring workshop that will be held on the 9th of December 2023 at the Inselspital in Bern, 09.00h-12:45h.

We would kindly invite you to this year’s SASRO Contouring workshop – Prostate.

The workshop is open to anyone interested in getting more confident in this field. It will focus mostly on the target volume delineation based on current guidelines and most recent clinical evidence. We will use a contouring software that most of us are familiar with (Varian’s Eclipse Software). It is also easy to learn for those without experience, and support will be provided on site.
The event is sponsored by VARIAN and it is free of charge for SASRO members (CHF 30 for non-members). Participation number is limited to 18.
