On this day we will honor the retirement of Prof. Stephan Bodis in a farewell event followed by a symposium on the topic of reirradiation with national and international speakers.

Due to the rapid progress in diagnostics and local and systemic cancer therapy, re-irradiation is no longer a rarity today, but is increasingly utilized in clinical practice. Nevertheless, even with the use of state-of-the-art techniques, it can be challenging to find the optimal balance between effectiveness and safety of re-irradiation.

In order to present the current state of clinical practice on the one hand and to give appropriate space to open questions on the other hand, we would like to invite you to a scientific symposium on re-irradiation. In 4 sessions national and international speakers will present biological, technical and technological aspects as well as concrete clinical indications of re-irradiation.

The event will take place on site at the University Hospital Zurich to allow a personal farewell and a competent exchange among colleagues:
